Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - is a Canadian as well as an American artist and singer. She has released more than 20 albums. Her music is categorized as alternative rock, folk rock but she also draws influences of jazz and hip-hop. Ani diFranco was the first artist to establish her own label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was a born on the 23rd of September 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father had Italian heritage and her mother was Montreal-born. 32 Flavors is a song written that was performed and written by Ani DiFranco. The song debuted on DiFranco's 1995 sixth album Not a Pretty Girl. A variation of the track is included in the soundtrack to 1999's Canadian love story Better Than Chocolate. DiFranco made an apology public in 2013, after it was revealed that she had planned a three-day seminar at the Louisiana plantation. The event was later cancelled however, she did not express any regret. DiFranco made a retraction apology just a few days after the first.
