Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer who is best known as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage performer in several Broadway productions before gaining into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. In 1957, she released her debut music album called It's time for Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a drama film released 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Louise joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career successfully in between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has remained in Toronto ever since.
